The Collective was founded by a number of member organisations, alongside EALA Impacts CIC. They are:
- Porty Community Energy (PCE)
- Bruntsfield Area Net Zero Action Initiative (BANZAI)
- Edinburgh Tool Library (ETL) and the ETL Retrofixers
- The Dudleys Community Home and Building Improvement Group
- Edinburgh Community Climate Forum (ECCF)
- Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations Council (EVOC)
- Edinburgh Communities Climate Action Network (ECCAN, a part of the Scottish Communities Climate Action Network – SCCAN)
- Edinburgh Architectural Association
We were founded with a flexible outlook, to allow us to develop in accordance to the local response to our creation and call to action. We are governed by an initial Constitution that expects development and change, with a Management Committee made up of representatives from the member organisations and three Office Holders elected by the Management Committee.
